We
drove all day, then drank too much to talk our demons
out. Morning found us hungover, not healed. On the beach,
you suddenly grinned and stripped.
We plunged into the winter sea, gasping, laughing, until
the serious, rebuking undertow claimed us.
We struggled home. Survived. Revived. All demons drowned. |
