  Welcome to miniWORDS 2008, our big writing competition with a small word count!

This year we again received three more than three thousand entries from all over the world. The standard was as high as always and judging proved to be a very difficult task.

This year we selected one winner from each of the three categories and a separate overall winner which came from the miniSTORIES category. We also chose second and third places as well as commended and highly commended entries. You can read through all of these on this website.

We are now busy planning our next competition. Please do check here again soon for more information.
